  • Speaker: Craig Jellick, VP of Engineering and Cofounder, Obot AI
  • What you’ll learn:
Coding agents are quickly changing how software gets built. What used to require a team of engineers can now start with a clear idea and the right AI assistant. This shift is not just for developers. It is opening up new ways for non-coders to create tools, automate work, and prototype solutions on their own.

In this talk, we will look at what coding agents actually are, how they work, and where they are already being used outside of engineering teams. The session will include practical, hands-on examples showing how someone without a technical background can collaborate with an agent to build simple apps, generate useful scripts, and speed up everyday workflows.

Attendees will learn a few repeatable patterns for getting good results, how to think about agents as partners rather than magic, and the limits and risks to keep in mind when using them in real organizations.

By the end, you will have concrete ways to start using coding agents in your own work, even if you have never written code before.

  • For developers: MCP gives you a clean, interoperable way to connect LLMs to tools, data, and workflows. Obot makes those MCP servers easy to find, understand, and use—with live documentation and seamless client connections.
  • For IT and security: Obot is the control plane that brings governance, observability, and compliance to MCP at scale—centralizing access control, hosting/proxying, audit trails, and policy enforcement across the enterprise.
