I previously wrote an article about my top 15 MCP servers. I still use and like many of these, but I wanted to update it and provide a new list of 15 MCP servers. Some of these are new, and some of them I still use a lot.
It’s almost 6 months since I wrote the previous article, and a lot has changed. Many more has adopted the MCP, and many more people are using them.
The list of available MCP servers out there are growing each day, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to navigate them. Which are good, what can you use them for, etc.

So in this article, I will write about 15 MCP servers. I’m going to write a short summary of each of them, what I like about them, and where you can get them.
I browse and read a lot of threads on Reddit. I read a lot of the posts manually, but with this MCP server, I can do some heavy research using AI.
What I really like about using AI for browsing a network like Reddit is that I can just ask “What’s the trending posts on Reddit for REPLACE WITH A SUBJECT”. Or if there is a post I have written, I can ask the AI to give me all the comments for that post.
If you wonder how a specific part of Reddit is actually working, you can ask something like “How does Reddit Karma work”?
I work as a full time web developer, and I use AI for a lot when it comes to my day to day job.
I found this MCP server a little while ago, and after playing around with it for a little while, it’s become a part of my work space.
With Augments, you get up-to-date information about the framework you’re working with. Let’s say that you’re making a web app with React, and there’s something you in the docs. With this MCP server, you instantly get access to that documentation.
I’m a pretty fast writer on a computer, but it’s still hard to beat just opening my mouth and ask a question. With Voicemode, I can open Claude Code and start talking. I found that this helps a little bit when I have a question I just want out of my head.
Sometimes I feel it’s easier to just babble rather than start typing. Because when I start typing, it’s not as “natural” as speaking.
Lately, I’ve been into game development. And as part of this, I need to make graphics for my games. Pixel art is something I really enjoy, and I use an editor called Aseprite.
This editor comes with an MCP server, and this makes it really easy to generate graphics based on my prompts. So with this MCP server, it’s really easy to communicate with the Aseprite API.
As I mentioned, I’m a web developer and I use databases in 99% of my projects. One database I’ve been using consistently for as long as I can remember is SQLite.
I often use an app called Tableplus to interact with the database. But this can be very slow when it comes to updating things in the database.
That’s why I often use the SQLite MCP server. This makes it really easy to get information from the database, update multiple rows, delete data, etc. And if you want to execute custom SQL queries, you can do that as well. You can even get help from the AI to write the custom SQL query.
There are a few different ways to install apps and packages on your Mac. One of them is a system called Homebrew.
With Homebrew, you can install, update, search, and similar, using the command line. But remembering all of the commands for doing this isn’t always easy.
So that’s why I usually use Homebrew MCP when I need to do something. With this MCP server, you can easily execute all of the commands because they are exposed to the AI. So now it’s easier than ever to install new software, upgrade the software you have already, or to find new software.
This is one more of the MCP servers I use daily in my workflow.
Using the devtools for getting information when I build web sites is crucial for the progress. But some of the tasks can be a bit tedious when you need to do it manually. For example, let’s say there is a network error I don’t understand. Then I need to copy it, paste it into an AI, etc.
But with this MCP server, I can finally automate this process. I also get access to the console log, change viewport, screenshots, etc.
Stripe is my favorite payment gateway when it comes to integration, documentation, and everything. It’s easy to integrate, it looks great, and it seems to just always work.
This is one of the MCP servers I mentioned in my previous list, but it deserves a place here as well.
With this MCP server, you can easily create new payment links and invoices, you can list your disputes, check your subscriptions, check you balance, etc.
They have not exposed the entires API, but I get access to almost everything I need. I rarely need to log into my dashboard any longer because of this MCP server.
I mentioned earlier that I am a web developer, and that means that I need to use a version control software. And it almost always lands on GitHub.
Git is extremely powerful, but remembering all of the commands and what they do can be hard. If you know how to use Git, working with multiple teams is a breeze. But if you don’t know how to use it, it can be a little bit painful.
With this MCP server, you can commit your data, branch out, review code, analyze data, etc.
I really like doing some of this with AI, because I can get explanations on the commands, or I can ask what the best practice to do is. Is it better to rebase, or to merge? This MCP server can help you with things like this.
I love Markdown! It’s easy to use, and the cool things is that when you write markdown, many editors “understand” this format and show you the output in real time.
But writing markdown isn’t really what this MCP server is all about. This is more for when you want to get the contents from a website and convert it to markdown, or if you want to take the contents of an image and convert it to markdown.
This MCP server is split into multiple tools, each specializing in a specific format. For example you can convert a slideshow (pptx) to markdown, or and image to markdown, etc. And since each of them are specializing in a specific type of content, the results are really great.
I have been using Slack now for as long as I can remember. It feels like every company out there are using this communication platform.
But when you’re a member of tens of channels, it can become hard to keep track of everything and similar.
One thing I often use this MCP server for is when I talk to Claude Code and I either find something cool I want to share, or if I’m stuck at problem. I can just use the MCP to write this directly in a channel.
If you’ve ever created an ad using Google Ads, you know how much work this can be. Plus, there are an insane amount of options and things you can do. You almost need to be an expert just to work with this software.
Luckily for me, there is an MCP server that can help with this.
With the Google Ads MCP server, you can do a lot of those hard tasks like keyword research, work with the Google Ads Query Language, etc. This MCP server makes it a lot easier to manage all of your accounts, find active campaigns, etc.
One of my hobbies is to create videos for my YouTube channel. I often need Gifs for my videos, or gifs of parts of my videos for marketing.
I could open up an editor like Davinci Resolve, extract a few seconds of a video, and export it as a gif. But this is too much work for a very simple thing.
Instead, I can just use this MCP server and say, give me a gif from the first 5 seconds of this video (and give it a file name on my computer).
I felt I needed to include one server at the end which is not tech related.
I live in a campervan, and I travel a lot. With this MCP server, it’s really easy to discover new things on my route, plan a day in a city, finding good restaurants, etc.
You can ask simple questions like “Find a good steak restaurant in Malaga”, or “Help me plan a day in Cordoba with only $100”. So if you travel a lot, or just need help finding something new to enjoy, you should try this MCP server.
15 MCP servers isn’t a lot if you knew how many there is out there. But since I didn’t want to create a really long list of MCP servers, I tried narrowing down my list to MCP servers I actually use. Most of them on a daily basis.
