Explore and manage Tableau Cloud content through Tableau’s hosted MCP server. It uses your Tableau Cloud identity, so each tool call respects your existing site role and content permissions.

What you’ll need to connect

A Tableau Cloud account with access to a Tableau site. Authentication is handled automatically through Tableau OAuth when you connect. No Personal Access Token, API key, or client credentials are required.

Limitations

This server supports Tableau Cloud only. Tableau Server and self-hosted Tableau deployments are not supported by Tableau’s hosted endpoint.
